When the TLW-A3 active sub-woofer gets moving, it raises the hairs on the back of your neck. Its pair of 26 cm cast magnesium bass units are of extremely long-throw design, and they work in tandem with a newly developed power amplifier to provide extremely clean, low bass. Our new active unit is the perfect match for this loudspeaker, and is rated at more than 120 W nominal power into 4 Ohm. When combined with the small TLS 1 and TLR 1 loudspeakers the TWL-A3 provides the sort of bass pressure and solid levels which even large floor-standing loudspeakers cannot attain. The cabinet of the sub-woofer is made of laminated wood - the sole member of the Talis series not to be constructed of aluminium.
